Wanted: Content Marketing Strategist

Valve One helps industrial and technology companies turn complex offerings into clear, compelling content that drives understanding and demand. We work internationally, often directly with customers, and our work spans from strategic content planning to multi-format execution across digital channels, campaigns, and customer journeys.

Location and ways of working

  • Office: Vallila, Helsinki
  • Hybrid: work from home is possible, but collaboration, ideation, and building together require regular presence at the office or at client location.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, prioritize, and execute content marketing strategies for 4–5 B2B tech clients, ensuring alignment with their strategic business goals.
  • Plan and create content across formats including blog posts, guides, customer stories, social content, webinars, podcasts, and video scripts.
  • Shape and refine messaging, positioning, and content concepts that support customer acquisition and brand building.
  • Track and analyze performance across content and search (SEO/AEO), using data to continuously improve results sprint by sprint.
  • Execute marketing activities as part of sprint-based work and report on outcomes, insights, and next steps.
  • Ensure smooth service delivery by keeping clients and internal teams aligned on goals, progress, and results.
  • Collaborate closely with clients through meetings, workshops, and ongoing communication.
  • Explore and adopt new workflows, including AI-powered tools and content production methods.

What we are looking for

  •  Strong Finnish and English skills – you don’t need to be native, but you can create clear, compelling narratives with the right tone of voice. Additional languages are a plus.
  • A well–rounded content marketing experience – you understand how different content formats and distribution channels work together to drive results. This includes blog posts, guides, customer stories, social content, webinars, podcasts, and lighter multimedia formats (e.g., Canva-based visuals and videos). You’re comfortable using modern content tools and experimenting across formats.
  • B2B marketing experience – you understand different business models and how content supports complex buyer journeys.
  • Strategic mindset – you see content as part of a larger commercial system and use research and data to guide decisions. You’re comfortable working with positioning and messaging, helping clients define what they want to be known for and translating that into consistent content.
  • Search & AI-driven discovery (SEO/AEO/GEO) – you understand how buyers find information through search engines, AI assistants, and recommendation systems, and can turn this into practical content plans based on keyword research and real search intent. You’re comfortable using tools like Semrush and Google Search Console.
  • HubSpot and marketing technology – you don’t need to be an expert, but you see “content meets technology” as an opportunity. Experience with Content Agent, Content Remix, Breeze Copilot, automation, reporting, or CRM workflows is a strong advantage. You’re able to use CRM data and buyer intent signals to guide next steps.
  • Understanding of AI in content marketing – you have hands-on experience or strong curiosity about AI-powered content production, workflows, or agents, and how they improve efficiency and quality.
  • Strong project management and communication skills – you keep projects on track and communicate clearly with clients and teammates in meetings, workshops, and retrospectives. You may also take a leading role with customers.
  • Self-management – you can prioritize your work and operate independently in a fast-paced, sprint-based environment.
  • Something missing? Content doesn’t live in a vacuum – we value unique skills and perspectives even if they don’t fit neatly into a category

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot tools (e.g., Content Hub, automation, reporting, CRM workflows).
  • Experience working with multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Experience with multimedia content (video, audio, webinars, lightweight design tools like Canva).
  • Additional language skills.
  • Curiosity and experimentation with AI tools in content workflows.

How your success is measured

  • Customer satisfaction and ability to achieve agreed goals
  • Customer retention and profitability
  • Feedback from colleagues

What we offer

  • A collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Flexibility to work remotely, with access to an office in Helsinki
  • Opportunity to work with multiple B2B tech clients and develop strategic marketing expertise
  • A role at the forefront of AI-driven content marketing
  • Comprehensive occupational health care
