Valve One helps industrial and technology companies grow. We build commercial engines: systems where positioning, content, paid media, sales and data work together, so that marketing turns into pipeline and revenue.
As a Marketing Strategist, you design these systems with our clients and keep improving them. AI has changed what strategy work looks like. Reporting what happened is now the easy part. The real work is understanding why it happened, what it means and what to do next. Every round of work should teach the next one.
What you'll do
- Design growth systems for B2B tech clients: target customers, positioning, offers, channels and the path from first contact to closed deal.
- Help clients connect marketing and sales: shared goals, the buyer signals that matter, and when a lead is ready for sales.
- Find where growth gets stuck and decide what to fix first.
- Turn data into decisions. Set expectations before launch, measure the impact on pipeline, and adjust as you learn.
- Build AI into the system: agents and workflows for analysis, buyer signals, lead prioritisation and reporting.
- Work with client leadership as a sparring partner, and bring content, paid media and sales together around one plan.
What we expect
You have hands-on experience with most of the following. The two that matter most are building growth systems and building with AI.
- Building growth systems that turn B2B demand into pipeline and revenue
- Commercial processes: long sales cycles, buying committees and the handoff between marketing and sales
- AI workflows or agents you've built yourself and that are in real use in strategy, analysis or marketing work
- HubSpot and CRM data as tools for steering marketing and sales
- Leading strategic work with client or company leadership
Fluent Finnish and English are required, as many of our clients are Finnish.
You might not enjoy this role if
- you see strategy as a finished document rather than a system that keeps changing
- you'd rather report on what happened than decide what to do next
- you prefer to go deep in one channel rather than see the whole picture
What matters to us
- You try new things, even when it means sometimes getting it wrong
- You learn from what doesn't work and improve every day
- You share what you learn, help the people around you do their best work, and people enjoy working with you
- We take the work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously
What we offer
- A role that is still taking shape, and grows as much into our clients' sales as their marketing. Nobody has a finished model for it yet, and you'll help build ours.
- A team that tries things, shares what it learns and supports each other
- Hybrid work, with an office in Vallila, Helsinki
- Occupational health care; lunch, sports, culture and massage benefits; HSL travel benefit
- Salary: €4,000–5,000/month based on experience
How to apply
Apply through the button so your application goes straight into our recruitment system.
Send us:
- your CV or LinkedIn profile
- a short cover letter
- one or two examples of what you’ve built: a growth system, a commercial process or an AI workflow
A few sentences on what you did and what changed is enough, and a screenshot or link is welcome. It helps us see how you work, and we’ll talk about it more in the first interview.
The process: a short first interview with a focus on AI skills, a case task that you present to the team, and an aptitude assessment for final candidates.
Apply by 15 November 2026. We'll start conversations right away and may make a decision before the deadline, so it's worth applying early.
